A Message from the Vice President
Welcome! The members of the Resource Development team at Wingate University invite your participation in the university's life and work. Contact us! We will enjoy talking to you about the many ways you can support Wingate and become involved serving Wingate and our students.
You will find everyone in the Office of Resource Development ready and willing to answer your questions and provide you the information you need.
Regardless of your income, you usually can reduce your income taxes through charitable giving. The higher your income and tax bracket, the more reason to make a charitable gift in the current year. Obviously your support is about more than tax consequences. Your gift will benefit our students and have a positive impact on their collegiate experience. – Vint Tilson, Vice President for Resource Development
Ways to Give
There are many ways to make a gift to Wingate. Please contact us if you would like further information about each of these options:
- Real estate or other property
You can double or triple your gift to Wingate University! Many companies sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your employer participates in a Matching Gift program, your gift amount to the university can be matched and have an even great impact. It’s simple! Here’s what to do:
- Check with your employer to see if it participates in a matching gift program.
- If so, you must request a matching gift form from your employer.
- Complete your section, sign it and then send it in with your gift to us.
We will process the rest of the application and receive the funds. Most companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
