Alumni Award Nomination: Homecoming 2013
Alumni awards are given during Homecoming festivities to those who have distinguished themselves among their peers. The alumni awards and criteria are listed below.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is one of the most prestigious awards offered by the University.  The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes alumni with a minimum of fifteen years of work experience who demonstrate outstanding and uncommon achievement in his or her profession and/or whose civic, community and public service is both exemplary and exceptional.  Recipients are recognized by their peers as being truly distinguished enjoying the full respect and admiration of their colleagues, family, friends and constituents.

The Outstanding Young Alumni Award honors alumni with less than fifteen years of work experience who demonstrate outstanding and uncommon achievement in his or her profession and/or whose civic, community and public service is both exemplary and exceptional.  Recipients are recognized by their peers as being truly outstanding enjoying the full respect and admiration of their colleagues, family, friends and constituents.  

The Alumni Excellence in Service Award honors alumni whose faithful service to Wingate University is exceptional, unwavering and highly respected and appreciated by the campus community.  Recipients bring consistent goodwill and steady enthusiasm to their volunteer roles.  Their leadership and stewardship are outstanding examples of loyalty to alma mater at its best.   

To nominate a fellow alumnus, please submit the following information about him or her: name (including maiden name if necessary), class year, major while at Wingate University, any graduate work and name of institution, current job, acknowledgements, awards, community service, family information and a brief description of why he/she should receive the specific award for which you are nominating him/her.
